Indian Biological Images Archive (IBIA) is an online repository that catalogs biological images data generated at research institutes and hospitals. IBIA aims to collect, store, and analyze diverse types of biological images such as microscopy images, agricultural images, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) images, multispectral and hyperspectral images, thermal images, digital X-ray, CT, MRI, PET, Ultrasound, histopathology, and associated metadata. Supported by the Government of India through the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), IBDC facilitates the implementation of the “Biotech-Pride Guidelines” (Promotion of Research and Innovation through Data Exchange). Over the past few years, IBDC has developed a comprehensive range of freely available molecular databases and resources to support life science research in India.
