- Descriptive Title: This study involves whole-genome sequencing of antimicrobial resistant (AMR) bacterial isolates archived in the National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS), Pune AMR repository. Isolates have been collected from multiple geographic regions across India through surveillance, research, and institutional collaborations and are curated in the NCCS AMR repository with associated phenotypic and metadata records. The project focuses on generating high-quality draft and complete genome sequences of curated AMR isolates representing diverse bacterial taxa and resistance phenotypes maintained within the national repository.

- Abstract: The AMR isolates included in this study originate from diverse One Health sectors, including clinical specimens from human infections, environmental samples such as sewage and soil, and organized animal production systems including fisheries, poultry, and dairy sectors. These isolates are curated in the NCCS, Pune AMR repository and represent multiple geographic regions across India. The generated dataset is expected to support national AMR surveillance, outbreak investigations, diagnostics development, and evidence-based policy interventions.
