- Abstract: In this study, we constructed a detailed transcriptomic dataset for Antheraea mylitta by performing de novo transcriptome assembly using Illumina HiSeq sequencing. The draft transcriptome, generated from roughly 30× sequencing coverage, comprises 451,619 transcripts with an N50 of 754 bp, a maximum contig length of 26,150 bp, and a GC content of 36.445%. Validation through BUSCO analysis confirmed high completeness, with 90.3% and 85.5% of complete BUSCO genes identified in the Insecta and Lepidoptera lineages, respectively. This robust transcriptomic resource will support future efforts in genetic enhancement and selective breeding of Antheraea mylitta.
