- Abstract: The bacterium was isolated from the banana leaves collected from the Tezpur University campus, Assam. The 16S sequencing shows it belongs to the genus Pseudomonas. The bacterium exhibits strong antifungal as well as insecticidal activities. It also shows phosphate solubilizing activity suggesting its PGPR activity.
