IBIA Study Cited in High-Impact Journal for Advancing AI in Thyroid Pathology
We are pleased to announce that the IBIA study titled "Utility of Artificial Intelligence in Differentiating Non-Invasive Follicular Thyroid Neoplasm with Papillary-like Nuclear Features from Other Follicular-Patterned Thyroid Benign and Malignant Lesions" (IBIA Study Accession: HISTOS_1000000014) has been cited in a recent publication in a high-impact scientific journal.
The citing article, titled "A Novel Three-Stage AI-Assisted Approach for Accurate Differential Diagnosis and Classification of NIFTP and Thyroid Neoplasms", demonstrates the significance of the IBIA study in advancing the use of artificial intelligence to improve diagnostic precision in thyroid pathology.
This citation underscores the growing recognition of IBIA’s contributions to the integration of AI in histopathological diagnostics and highlights the study’s influence on the development of innovative, clinically relevant AI-driven methodologies.
New Features Added to the IBIA
Several new features such as quick/efficient loading of studies containing large number of records (through customized pagination), data usage or other statistics (no. of images, data size, no. of study views, no. of downloads, etc.), Help Desk, FAQs, etc., were added to the IBIA.
URL-based Data Sharing Facility Implemented
The URL-based data sharing facility (for Managed Access datasets) has been implemented at IBIA. This will help in sharing the Managed Access datasets (during embargo period) with selected users such as collaborators, reviewers, team members, etc.
An Image Visualizer Implemented at IBIA
TissUUmaps, a browser-based tool for fast visualization and exploration of millions of data points overlaying a tissue sample.
Indian Biological Images Archive (IBIA) Launched
The IBIA was launched on August 12, 2024 for the public use.
