Webinar July, 2024

Indian Biological Data Centre and its Services

The Indian Biological Data Centre (IBDC) is the first national digital data repository mandated to archive all life science data generated from publicly funded research in India. Supported by the Government of India through the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), IBDC facilitates the implementation of the “Biotech-Pride Guidelines” (Promotion of Research and Innovation through Data Exchange). Over the past few years, IBDC has developed a comprehensive range of freely available molecular databases and resources to support life science research in India.

Join us for a tour of the various data resources and services offered by IBDC for the biological research community.

Webinar Agenda:

  • Introduction to the vision and mandate of IBDC in alignment with the Biotech Pride Guidelines
  • Overview of the different types of data portals available at IBDC
  • Discussion of additional services provided by IBDC, including user resources, training and workshops, High-Performance Computing facilities, data analytics, and more
  • Information on further online and offline training opportunities to help you learn more about specific portals of IBDC, their data submission processes, and access workflows

Who Should Attend ?

This webinar is for anyone with an interest in biology or bioinformatics. All researchers and scientists working in any domain of life sciences are encouraged to attend. No prior skills are required.

By the end of the webinar, you will be able to:
