PPJ_100024 Characterization of Genetic Resources: Mainstreaming rice landraces diversity in varietal development through genome-wide association studies; A model for large scale utilization of gene bank collections of rice Harnessing the natural variation for photosynthetic efficiency and associated traits across Indian rice accessions to identify genetic loci that could possibly be exploited to increase leaf photosynthetic efficiency. This will involve high-throughput filed phenotyping of photosynthesis and related physiological traits, association of the phenotypes to resequencing-generated SNP genotype to identify robust markers, and validation of the identified markers using suitable mapping population. 2025-03-31 PST_100013 Screening of natural varieties for photosynthetic traits: 2022 Natural variation for physiological traits like gas exchange, chlorophyll fluorescence and leaf morphological traits are recorded among rice land races. PPJ_100010 Functional Characterization of miR408 in drought sensitive rice cultivar The transgenic lines of miR408 at T2 generation were analyzed for their morphometric differences to the wild type PB1 plants. The shoot length, root length, root density, 3rd leaf length and width (from the midpoint) and whole seedling weight at different seedling stages were recorded for both transgenic lines and wild type plants. The data were represented in the form of graphs. For most of the lines more that 10 plants were analyzed for each parameter. 2023-09-30 PST_100011 Characterization of vegetative vigor of miR408 overexpression and wild type plants. The T2 generation of miR408 overexpression plants along with WT plants compared for different traits to characterize the role of miR408 in growth and development. Phenotypic comparison of 40-day-old wild type and MIR408-OE plants were conducted in culture room conditions. Quantitative analysis of shoot and root length, root density, plant weight, leaf blade lengthand leaf blade width were studied. oryza sativa vegetative vigor University of Delhi South Campus View/Download Files

PPJ_100075 Characterization of a genetically diverse reference set of lentil A set of genetically diverse reference set was generated by screening 800 lentil accessions. The set was genotyped at an average depth of 6.8X using illumina based short read (2 x 150bp) sequencing approach. I can be accessed from IBDC INDA-CA under project ID INCARP000256. The same set was characterized for its agro-morphological diversity, diversity in seed yield related traits. Moreover, nutritional profiling of mature seed was also carried out. 2026-09-21 PST_100057 Estimation of seed mineral content in a genetically diverse reference set of lentil The study includes the estimation of mineral content in mature seeds of lentil through Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry analysis.
