About Us
Welcome to the Indian Array Data Archive (IADA)!
The Indian Array Data Archive (IADA) is a public data submission portal under the Indian Biological Data Center (IBDC), established by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, and hosted at the Regional Centre for Biotechnology, Faridabad, Haryana. IADA provides a central repository for probe-based molecular data from a variety of Technologies and plateforms, including microarrays, PCR assays, Nanostring nCounter, FISH, and more. The archive is designed to support data from both established and emerging technologies, contributing to the advancement of genomic research in India and globally. The platform is designed with open access in mind, providing a user-friendly interface for seamless data submission, browsing, and downloading. IADA adheres to rigorous metadata standards and guidelines such as MIAME (Minimum Information About a Microarray Experiment), a widely adopted standard introduced in 2001 by the Gene Expression Data Society (GEDAS) to ensure comprehensive reporting and reproducibility of microarray experiments. All data submissions are fully annotated for reusability.
The main goals of IADA are to-
- Facilitate the submission and sharing of probe-based molecular data
- Ensure standardized, well-annotated data submissions for reproducibility and consistency
- Promote collaboration and data reuse to advance scientific discovery
- Provide easy access to high-quality, curated data for the global research community
- Support the long-term storage and preservation of data for future research use
- Offer advanced tools for data analysis, visualization, and interpretation to enhance research insights
